Dignity Health Sports Complex
Adaptive Sports Demonstrations
Come see adaptive athletes in action as they showcase incredible skill and determination in sports like wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, and more. These demos give the public a front-row seat to the power of inclusive athletics. Attendees will also have the chance to try some of the equipment for themselves in a safe, supportive environment. Whether you’re an athlete, a fan, or just curious, these demos are for everyone. It’s a great way to learn how sports can be made accessible to all.

Prosthetic
Trial Runs
Curious about how advanced prosthetics work? Stop by the prosthetic trial station, provided by Bakersfield Prosthetics & Orthotics Center, where guests can observe and experience cutting-edge prosthetics in action. With guidance from professionals, attendees with limb loss or limb difference can test out devices designed for mobility and sport. This hands-on opportunity offers a rare and empowering look into what’s possible with modern technology. Whether you’re exploring options for yourself or learning to support a loved one, this is a powerful stop at the fair.

Mobility
Resource Village
The Resource Village is a one-stop hub of information, support, and community connection. Featuring local nonprofits, healthcare providers, and service organizations, this area offers everything from legal aid to adaptive equipment vendors. Whether you're looking for financial assistance, rehabilitation services, or social programs, you’ll find a network of support here. It’s free, informative, and open to anyone wanting to learn more about navigating life with a disability. Come explore what’s available in our own Kern County backyard.

Mobility Voucher Raffle & Giveaway
We’re raffling off three $2,500 mobility vouchers that can be redeemed toward life-enhancing equipment like adaptive sports wheelchairs, prosthetics, or even home modifications. Winners will work with licensed physical therapists to ensure their selected items are a great fit for their needs. The goal is to reduce financial barriers for individuals living with mobility challenges. Attendees can sign up for the raffle at the event, and winners will be announced during the fair. Must be 18 or older to enter (parents may enter on behalf of minors).
